Industrial Product Design (IPO) — Summa Cum Laude at Howest
As an independent product designer, visualization specialist, and computational design consultant, I work at the intersection of mathematical precision, tactile materiality, and silent, edge-hosted AI systems.
I initially spent a decade as a software developer, leading deep-tech and AI initiatives alongside a major Belgian digital agency. Starting long before the ongoing AI hype cycles, this background provides me with a rare, clear-eyed realization of what AI actually is: its real limitations, its physical constraints, and how to effectively engineer around them relative to physical products. Inspired to bring that technical logic into the physical world, I graduated in Industrial Product Design (IPO) at Howest, graduating summa cum laude and winning an international award for my portfolio. I have also spent time in higher education as a researcher and lecturer, teaching parametric CAD, Blender, and high-fidelity rendering pipelines.
This rare fusion of engineering, academic depth, and award-winning design intuition allows me to merge authentic, pre-hype AI expertise with computational design systems. Rather than following speculative marketing trends, I build generative scripts, craft procedural material textures, optimize complex CAD assemblies, and direct exact visual narratives grounded in physical truth and material reality.

Visual Storytelling & High-End CAD.
Drawing on my experience teaching visual design in higher education, I construct cinematic renderings that treat environments, light reflection, and surface dust as active components of the design narrative. I combine parametric CAD blueprints, high-fidelity 3D scanning, immersive 360° photography backgrounds, and Blender storytelling to showcase the soul of raw clay, unpolished concrete, and brushed metal.

Computational AI & Algorithmic Design.
True digital-physical harmony requires custom, predictable logic, not speculative marketing hype. Weaving a decade of deep, pre-hype AI engineering with computational design workflows, I design custom mathematical systems, adaptive lighting algorithms, and localized offline models. Fully recognizing the practical limits of AI, I construct robust workarounds that guarantee physical precision directly on bare-metal hardware.
